About Us
We are Dušan and Katarina, who live with a small family in the village of Srednja Bela near Preddvor in the land of Slovenia in Europe. We share our heart and thoughts. Inner Eye is our perception, which has also linked us into an inseparable whole. So we have four eyes, two hearts and a complimentary soul. With four legs it is easier to progress along the slopes of life. Our sculpted children are created by Dušan with his hands and our love. He is the author of all sculptural works, he grows with them and he dreams about them. He has special feelings for them, and if anyone asked him what would be the central point of his life, it would be certainly sculptures.
“A man can be creator of his life in width, which depends on his understanding and feeling of life that surrounds him. We are all creators, whether we are aware of it or not, we are making a puzzle of this world in a meaningful or senseless whole. Whatever we do and think, we create patterns with our actions, which translated into reality get their physical form. We translate the most passionate perceptions into our own creations, whether it be a song, a dance, a home-made bread or a seed of a plant that has emerged from our hands in the land of life. Sculpturing is my passion through which I express the conquest of the feeling of life and its manifestations, which I freely complement with creative imagination. A conscious mind triggers a mental response, and hands make a shape. I am grateful for the recognition that life has bound me to sculptural creation, which complements me in my own way and allows me to grow.”
